Kabkab dates are growing in Bushehr and Fars province in Iran. It has soft sweet, light brown color and delightful taste.
It is in large size, around 3-4cm. The moisture of this variety is about 18% so it is considered to be semi-dried.
This sort has a wide range of usage in food industry, such as snacks, cookies, syrup, alcohol, etc.
The harvest time is usually mid September. It matures on the palm tree and it is better to be eaten fresh.

In average room temperature Kabkab can stay fine for about 6 months.There is no need to refrigeration, but keeping in a dry and cold environment help them to stay longer.
